Frank Martinez

[Director]

"My goal is to inspire the students to love to play."

Talents

  • Mr. Frank appeals to students young or mature and new or experienced to keep them interested in exploring their skills.

  • Mr. Frank has been teaching for over 13 years and his love for teaching music could never be considered “work.” His passion for music is apparent in his teaching abilities.

  • In Mr. Frank's spare time, he enjoys to hunt and spend time with his family, Jenna & Gabriel. He also performs with a local Texas Country band playing the fiddle, the pedal steel guitar, and the dobro.


Clare Haugen

[Assistant Strings Instructor]

"My goal is for the students to learn music they love to play and for them to make new friends."

Talents

  • Ms. Clare teaches with engaging and fun activities where students learn a new skill or refine a skill they have already been working on.

  • She understands the learning process and uses techniques from Bob Phillips Fiddle Method, Mark O’Connor, Suzuki Strings, and UIL quality pieces that are hand selected.

  • Since completing her Master’s in Music Education at Texas Tech University in 2018, Ms. Clare enjoys jewelry making from Michael’s, cheering her son Paul at Tennis, Violin, and Piano, and spending time with her husband and Penny Py, a Corgi-Golden Retriever mix.


Chris Brady

[Guitar Instructor]

"I have been surrounded by music ever since I can remember and I want to share my passion for the guitar with new musicians."

Talents

  • Not only can Chris play the guitar, he can play the drums as well.

  • With his background as a Luthier, Chris knows his way around repairing and building instruments.

  • You may have even heard Chris on a Texas Country album! In his spare time, he is a traveling musician and a recording guitarist.


Michael Villarreal

[Private Strings Instructor] 

"I love to see the student's achieve more than they thought they could."

  • Mr. Michael goes above and beyond to help his student's get to the next level.

  • His attention to detail and precision fine tunes his student's skills.

  • In Mr. Michael's spare time, he enjoys immersing himself into practicing his cello. It may seem cliche, but Michael truly lives and breathes music.


Jenna Martinez

[Operations Manager]

"My goal is to help the teachers as much as possible so they can focus on the musicians."

Talents

  • Jenna helps with details behind the scenes from scheduling to keeping parents informed.

  • With a background in accounting and operations, she is always looking for efficient processes to improve FM Studios.

  • In her spare time, she loves to go on long walks with her son, Gabriel.
